Bringing back Memoirs of an Illusory Larcener?

Should Memoirs of an Illusory Larcener be fixed and brought back?

I don't know about most people (thus the reason for the poll), but I really enjoyed Memoirs of an Illusory Larcener the few times I played; it was fun, funny, quirky, and very unique. I've heard that some people experienced a few glitches with it (though I never did, personally), so obviously it would have to be updated and/or reworked a bit, but I think it was a really fun quest that deserves to be brought back. What say you all?

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I started a similar poll several months ago. No other regular quest that is part of an adventure pack has ever been completely removed from DDO, so the devs should rebuild it. It's also a great quest, which is one more reason to bring Memoirs back to the game!

The whole quest was a proof of concept. For the "teleport" mechanic. It was interesting but problematic.
There wasn't much to the quest itself and neither the story within or withour made any sense.
There is nothing to salvage here.

Use working hours to make something better. You can even make a new quest with the same name as a guide.

The concept of Memoirs is good, along with many of its individual scenes (e.g., the elf fight, the airship, etc). The quest could be redone with better mechanics and an improved story continuity. I think it should be re-added to the game. It's a bad precedent to completely pull a quest that was added as part of an adventure pack.

I certainly don’t want a return the stuck spot bacchanalia that it was. If they rebuilt it with straightforward portals I’d be fine with it - biggest reason to do so would be to put the circlet into a quest with reaper difficulty.
Maybe secondarily to add back the free favor and a few monster manual entries now lost to the ether.

The poll is now split exactly between the three choices: one-third for Memoirs, one-third against, and one-third indifferent. One-third of the player base is certainly something to consider! SSG could give this project to a new or newer dev (if there is one) and build an expanded and improved version of Memoirs for re-release.

Please no! One of the worst quests in the game.

Wasn't it such a technical mess last time because they gave it to a new dev?

If SSG is ever going to try to make quests that aren't just crest collection, you have to let them cut the failed experiments and not keep demanding that they bring them back. Let them try something new instead of trying to fix a broken idea.

This! Experimenting shouldn't come with baggage. It should be encouraged and cherished.
