Hold Shift, CLick on and Drag any Item in your inventory let go of shift or whatever you have mapped to block, THEN drop the Item being Dragged last

Have you tried pressing block again afterwards to see if it clears it?

Thank you for reporting this bug. Here is your numbered ticket of 9,999,9999,9999,999.9999999 in reported bugs would you like to remain on hold for 10,000 years or do you prefer a callback?

Why are you dragging something while blocking is my question?
Last time I asked this (why would anyone click on a non equipable / usable item on a hot bar) it was just exploits .

Because otherwise, yes, just don’t do these actions.

Why a player is performing an action isn't really relevant with bug discoveries. Could've been tankin' Xy'zzy or something and figured it out. Who knows? No reason to infer bad intentions over bug reports. Players should be able to hold block and move stuff anyway.

That it clears up when hitting block again means it's a fairly minor issue overall. OP should bug report it, but thankfully it doesn't sound game breaking where you have relaunch the client to fix it or anything.

You can also tumble away to break the block continuation.

Personally, I'd prefer it to be kept in as is. It's a way to keep a character actively blocking then. It helps when trying to test block effects from when you are attacking them and when they are being attacked by particular things. It makes certain tests a lot easier to perform to find answers.

oooh maybe a toggle suggestion for Gameplay options? Use Shift to toggle block on/off instead of holding it?

I asked a simple question. Which is why are you moving something when blocking...as most likely this will break the blocking.

Oh sorry I think someone else mentioned exploits. I was just addressing that really not you specifically.
