bug or what?

Haven't played a toon in more then a year.
it had finished Sharn part 1 last year.
joined a LFM today and was given ransack penalty -80% xp.
was that from another player?

Was it a ransack penalty, or was it a late entry penalty? iirc if you're more than 10 minutes late you get a -80% penalty that goes down the longer you are in the quest.

no the played the entire chain with the group. i joined the 1st one late but the remaining were joined at the same time didn't notice till the last one the xp wasn't paying attention until i was questioning why i hadn't received an ap in 4 quests got 10500xp +/_ for the last flagged quest on r1 should have been closer to ●♠29,696

Did you only recently transfer? That might have messed up the ransack xp penalty if you went missing a year and only tansferred recently and ran the same content again, especially if you never handed it in either.

Strange. Might be an actual bug then. Perhaps related to the transfers a few months ago? The only thing I can think of that might result in ransack penalties when first playing after a year of not, would be if you were ransacked a year ago and didn't get the quest rewards from a year ago until just now before doing the runs you just did, because a lot of the quest timers are based on finishing them with the NPC/collecting the end rewards.

I transferred the toon when i moved from Argo to the new server with the guild . its been sitting since. i think how ever it has the cant move from bank to bank bug and must move from bank to inv to bank . i think i can check ransack in chat and see if there are others? i have to look up the /ransack
