Bug related to previously reported winter wing bug

I was able to get my winter wings after the patch which is much appreciated. Unfortunately I found another bug - when I tried to turn in my summer flight lute I received the following message: "(Dungeon Master): You already have this item."

In addition, Lord Arden ate my summer flight lute so it's not longer in my inventory.

I thought perhaps this was just a bug getting the wings since I already had it when I tried to claim my winter wings on that character. However, when attempting to claim the summer wings on another character I get the error message: "You do not appear to have earned that reward".

So as a warning. If you claimed your winter wings and received summer wings. Do not attempt to turn in your summer flight lute on that character until this bug is fixed because you will lose your lute and not get the reward. . So even though I earned the summer wings no other character on that account will ever have the opportunity to get those.

I will report back if customer service is able to resolve this.

I Just checked. The ticket was logged 9 days ago and no response yet.

No response to the ticket. No communication to the community from the SSG dev or community team.

No acknowledgement that they are aware of the problem.

It's been a month with no communication from SSG on the ticket or the issue, so I submitted a new ticket requesting a refund for some consumables used during the event, e.g., xp potions.

It's not the outcome I wanted, but it's likely the best I am going to get.

Seems to me that, in this case, starting over ain't an option if you still turn in a bugged lute...

A TR/ER/LR would remove that erroneous feat allowing them to start over.

Didn't think of that. Glad you mention it as I'm working on that specific turn-in after a TR.

Not really interested in it as I would also have to reclaim 2 more dark gift end rewards on top of the additional time it takes to do this unnecessary work.

I've already put in the time - I shouldn't have to fill in the lute again plus run go through an unncessary reincarnation plus run at least 2 sagas to get my dark gifts back.

Seriously?......Well that sucks, because I did the same thing with collecting the winter wings during the bug, and now working to fill the summer for those. Goddammit SSG!
