Can someone post some screenshots of the new coffer aura?

I want to save my points, but I am really tempted... would love to see some weapons in context, as I have not seen any on live servers yet!

It's a fairly faint green misty aura. Certain weapons will stand out more, some will be very hard to see. Will see if I can drop some in a moment.

I bought the coffer, and I thought that the horse was the most impressive thing... very beautiful. The rest are a bit meh... will not run around with that, as I've got much cooler stuff. Nice with more bank space as well. :)

It's a difficult Weapon Aura to utilise, because it's entirely reliant on the weapon "core" being a complimentary colour. Which is why the sickle that you are given as well has that innate green aura in the middle of the weapon.

Here we have Barovian Mists and Necro Aura on a Tabaxi staff.

Here, we have it on some Sunswords, Feywild Illusory Shadow and Neco.

Now with Necro (and you can see how you lose an innate internal aura, meaning dark weapons or weapons with a dark material base are going to have a rough time with this Aura)

And Blackrazor with Necro and Enhanced Acid.

Out of all the Auras, this is easily one of the more difficult ones to use.

Ah okay. That's so strange - it was such a vibrant green in the pictures. Then I learned that apparently the base color of the scythe is apparently just that bright green color. So... not only does it limit the options you have with the scythe, but I guess you can't get that bright neon green on whatever weapon you want.

Thank you for the response - it sounds like I can pass on this one

Thank you so much for this detailed response!! I hope it helps others who are browsing as well.

Although it is subtle, I do think it works pretty nicely for some of those options, especially blackrazor actually - I can see the use now in an aura that doesn't have a very powerful brightness but also eliminates the internal aura.

I was expecting being able to make any weapon look like the necro scythe, but oh well.

A little disappointing that the aura itself is not the laser green but faint wisps... however I'm sure it will still complement some styles.

Some possibilities:
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Greenstone_Dagger Greenstone weapons
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Drow_Shortsword_of_the_Weapon_Master Drow Weapons? Do they get imbue visuals?
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Green_Steel_Bastard_Sword Greensteel weapons
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Green_Blade If it gets an imbue visual.
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Lacerator maybe?
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Elemental_Bloom Does this get an imbue visual?
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Staff_of_the_Summer_Solstice / https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Staff_of_the_Winter_Solstice maybe?

I'm sure there are a lot of other weapons that could fit with styles I'm not even considering. It would be nice if we knew that ALL weapons get imbue visuals but I'm aware there are some that just DO NOT because IIRC they never had a visual effect mapped to them to begin with so a good rule of thumb is if it doesn't have a visual effect then you can't add one but its not 100% accurate and may depend on when the weapon was added to the game.
