Can someone with a flameblade run an experiment for me

I haven't tested it on Lam (and really should but not had time yet). But as near as I can tell, you can not remove that flame effect that goes across the base shape of the weapon as it is not an aura; it just has the look of one (needs confirming later when I have time).

Here's the blade with the Dark Fire Weapon Aura. As you can see, the base flames remain and cover the blade from handle, hilt to tip of blade. Whilst the Dark Fire Weapon Aura covers the blade only. (View the video itself if it's not running automatically, that'll show you how the Dark Fire Aura runs across the blade)

Wow, that is a ridiculously helpful and fast response! Thanks, J1NG!

Edit: Also, I have to say - that video looks pretty sick

I wanna pair that with Mask of Comedy and do some wild sort of sword + board cosmetic!

No problem.

We got lucky, I had one (Valorious) on tap already on that Druid alt, and when I logged in, it was dark in Eveningstar, so it made it easier to make the blade visible with the Dark Fire Aura. Tried taking some snaps (images only) but the blade was constantly too bright, so went for a short clip instead.

Sounds an interesting concept you're going for. Please do post the final result when you're done. Would love to see it. :)

Haha that is awesome. And, will do!

Ngl rn I am just completely jealous of Tronko's cosmetics in his latest SWF build post 😅

I don't have the money to go for the largest expansion pack bundles, but damn, if they don't come with some cool-looking gear.

What happens when you use a mirror to "remove" glamered weapon aura? Will this sword go invisible?

Also, when you mirror this and apply a darkflame aura - will it apply to the entire weapon?

The "remove" associated with Glamored Weapon Aura and other Weapon Auras does not precisely mean to remove; it actually means to revert to the initial state.

When you add an Aura to a Cosmetic Weapon created with the Mirror of Glamering and perform a Remove, the Aura doesn't disappear; instead, the appearance reverts to what it was when created with the Mirror of Glamering.

Similarly, if you perform a Remove when no Aura has been added, you will get the same result.

I see, thank you very much! I was unsure about the meaning.
