THIS IS DEFINITELY FINE AND GOOD (ana spent 80% of the raid not exagerrating afk and doing nothing. i could solo this faster)

threnal incompletable, citw basically impossible, any quest with lead npc has the ai so bricked the npcs just stand around doing nothing for dozens of seconds on end, and sometimes forever (threnal). citw is so bad rn

Threnal is super annoying but it can be completed with patience. The AI pathing is severely broken in that quest, making the NPCs pause for 30 seconds every few steps. Not using hirelings seems to help with that pausing just a little bit.

I had an issue with escorting Chief Engineer Heyward back up. He followed just fine for most of the quest, but close to the end, he just stopped. Everyone in party tried talking to him to stay and follow, stay and follow. But he just stood there doing nothing. Then miraculously like 5 minutes later, he decided he was ready to continue on and moved towards the entrance for completion without us doing anything else (as we had basically given up). But we were so close to just exiting out of the quest.

I'm just glad we finally managed to finish it. It was definitely an exercise in patience but luckily the group stuck together until she finally made it to the end.

2 weeks ago i ran threnal and coyole got stuck at the beginning of the quest multiple times, and we waited a good while before giving up. ran it yesterday and he seems to be working mostly so unsure what caused the first round of stuck. citw is possible, it just takes ages because ana gets stuck and doesnt move for minutes on end and she usually refuses to go through the barrier

I farmed CITW recently (a week or two ago?) and didn't notice any "new" issues with Anna.

However, I was solo'ing it. IMHO, the game seems to sync with the slowest system for NPCs/etc..

ran CITW a few times recently, its not ideal, but one thing that seemed to help is that, even though anna's follow sucks right now, she does teleport rather well. so whoever she is following just runs as far ahead as possible, and she teleports to the next enemy spawn point, you kill them, and then repeat. the last orb, and the barrier were still and issue, but maybe we got lucky on those as they only took about a minute or so for her to get on, or walk through.

i was also curious about solo, vs a full group, and if that made a difference. even thought about soloing to the end, and then having everyone come in.

I used to do this for CITW farms. It works pretty good, but it does require a healthy server population. I took a look at the online in-level list and panned that idea this time.

Yeah it doesn't help when half the group keeps clicking on Ana, resetting her AI all the time.
Just ran Lost Thread solo and everything was fine. It's in groups that she keeps getting stuck.

Tried to run Beyond the Rift just now. Elminster won't budge. Tried twice. :( At least this happens right at the start of the quest so you don't waste your time running the quest.
