am still hoping they add the ability to sheathe and visibly see our weapons in that state.
I just love this game. I think of everyone here as a friend at my game table. I think of us as one big gaming group. I.never made a lot suggestions in my younger years.
I was more concerned about the departure from the rules, and the addition of new systems, changes to core class abilities, some of my older posts I sound like a rule warrior. Sheesh.
I have been able to rely on DDO to be that valve, and touchtone. For almost my entire adult life. I was 25, single and my band just broke up.
DDO, reminds me that I can slay that dragon, that my friends may be sealed away by distance and time, but they believe in me. It reminds me I'm not alone, and If i need to I can just listen the roar of the elemental as the air ship flies and flies, and I recenter myself as even this digital world passes by me. Following is a list posts, extracted from ddo history, that I am proud to have witnessed.
9/2014 What you want in a new expansion? Thread. I suggested Sharn, and again requested shifters, I also asked for a reduction in racial tree costs. Sharn Expansion would release 5/2019, shifters would not appear until 10/2020
From Kiss thread. I requested single weapon fighting be added to DDO on 8/2011.
Swf line was released on 6/2014.
1/2011 Quarterstaff doublestrikes, raw clarification, qstaff qualifies as a doible weapon works with twf feats.
A dev post TELL THE TEAM RACES 5/2009 I made the request, for shifters not realized until 10/2020, Of note there are countless response posts in related thread topics requesting this race.
