Cannith crafting deconstruction issue

As I understand deconstruction, when one deconstructs armor or weapons, one receives essences as well as a specific amount of platinum depending on item level.
I have watched (so far) 8 of my toons suddenly stop receiving platinum when they deconstruct. This happened on the 32 bit servers and is happeing on the 64 bit servers. Some toons existed prior to a major change to crafting while some toons were created after that change. I have screen shots of the deconstruction results where one can see that an armor piece or weapon was properly reduced to x amount of platinum and x # of essences and then suddenly only essences are received and the messages in chat no longer show an amount of platinum received and only show the # of essences. I tend to watch my platinum balance as I deconstruct and it of course no longer increases.

I have reported this to CS and of course CS has replied they have no way to fix it and it has been sent to the team for analysis.

Has anyone else noticed this happening?

I suppose it is not the end of the world however having to constantly move items from toon to toon in order to deconstruct is a wee bit tedious for multiple reasons. Espeicially with all the issue around the bank system being bogged down lately.

Are you at max plat for your toon?

Have you tried depositing plat into your Shared Bank, then seeing if deconstructing produces plat again?

It's an old bug. If you have the deconstuction mats on your character then you get the platinum. If the deconstruct mats are being supplied from inside your crafting storage bank, then you don't get the platinum.

I truly appreciate the responses. I stumbled onto some comments on another thread and found that same answer. Tested it last night and like magic I am getting plat again. 1 point to the forums for providing excellent customer support.
