Cannith Crafting question

If I have a crafted item that has a charisma shard, but I now want it to have a wisdom shard, will a new wisdom shard overwrite the charisma shard, or do I have to start from scratch with a new disjuncted item?

You need to start from scratch, I suggest you get another blank to do it and just keep it.
