Cannith Diversion

Anyone know what types of damage Cannith crafted Diversion applies too?

The wiki links cannith diversion to melee diversion, but I notice you can also craft it onto ranged weapons, so presumably it can also apply to ranged?

With DDO, you just never know... just because you can, doesn't mean you should. You could always try it out and let us know!!! :p(y)

There should be a different effect for melee V ranged ... V magic now too :(
there was probably only one variety when they revamped the CC system... ?

Be good if they made the description more clear since I can't imagine the code would honor blanket diversion. At least the Bound shard is relatively cheap to make and test.

@Cordovan **Be REALLY AWESOME if a designer would weigh in here. Too bad we can't @ them as we have no idea who they are.

Well I posted to try and save myself the effort.
But not happening, so I went to a server I haven't been to in years and brushed the cobwebs off my crafter.

Results are:
Diversion on cloak = reduces melee threat only
Diversion on Crossbow = reduces melee threat only

Thanks to all for joining me on this thrilling journey of discovery.

It's unfortunate it doesn't act like it's cousin Sheltering
