Cannot Login to Character

Hello! Fairly new player here. I'm on my first 3rd Life character - Valadair on Thelanis - and I have been unable to login since I last TR'd.

I get the message: "Your character is still being saved" and have for several days now. This is what I've tried on my end - reinstalling the game, changing servers, using the "Transport to Eberron/Forgotten Realms" buttons, and submitting a help ticket (#379475) on another character. I'm hoping today's maintenance will fix the issue, but definitely not expecting it at this point.

The latest recommendation I found was to create a forum post and hope someone who can help stumbles across it. I've really been enjoying the game since I started playing in September, and I JUST bought all the expansions over the Thanksgiving sale - it feels like I've just wasted my money and my time. I have no incentive to start a new character because what if this issue repeats itself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I am so sorry for your troubles, that sounds horrible :(
I can think of one thing for you to try: Create another character and log it into the game. Then log out and try to log in your main character. Maybe that clears something that is character related in the process and allows the main character to log in.

I don't know that this will do anything and I hope it does.

I have an issue with buying DDO points, created a ticket Monday morning @ 10:40 and I have yet to get anything other then the system generated email about the request being received. Best of luck with your issue but support for this game from the company collecting the money is putrid. Been playing since 2009 and I yearn for the days when they had both in game and truly helpful support.

Hopefully the reboot fixes you, otherwise I just hope that it's something customer service has the tools to deal with via a ticket for you; if it's outside their capabilities then it'd have to get bounced up to some higher tier programmer/engineer to deal with.

Fair enough. Just a busier time than when i've asked for help.

That sounds immensely frustrating, Steakobsen. Hopefully they see yours soon.

Very likely that today's maintenance will fix your issue. If not....try the idea from above of creating a new character....then log in to that new character....then log out. Then log in to the old character.

Even broken clocks are right 2x a day if downtime fixes it just a fluke

Note a Fluke....I've seen it happen many times in my nearly 15 years playing the game.

I have two characters stuck in a reincarnation loop,I reincarnate them relevel them play them log out and it they are back needing their reincarnation redone
