Cannot order expansions on sale.

a friend of mine is trying to purchase the expansion trove and vecna expansion on sale - but its giving a generic error message that they are unable to purchase. they do not already have this expansion and it doesnt work on any of the expansions available. they press "buy now" and an error comes up. is the marketplace down?

edit: solved - she logged out of game and then it let her purchase

I had the same issue buying the Feywild expansion yesterday evening. It took a couple of attempts before it correctly processed the purchase. It did eventually go through and I was only charged once.

this was solved, it wouldnt let her purchase when she was currently logged into game. she logged off and it worked. now it could have been a fluke and the system was down until that precise moment but we will never know i guess.
