Can't Download the Game!

Did a fresh uninstall and tried to download the client again, but it appears that the linked page to the client download is not working.... I get an error when trying to go to the Download page... Can someone please confirm that this page is indeed down, if not I know the problem is on my end..

Right click and save as. Otherwise most browsers will block it from working as it's an EXE file.

Can confirm that neither 'http' nor the correct 'https' link work.
Trying with curl:

so, SSG is so incompetent that they can't even host a WORKING LINK to their own game??

How the hell you gonna get players playing your game if they can't download it?

Don't worry SSG, I found a solution.. I downloaded it from Steam, because Valve got their **** together!

Any update on this? I just freshly installed my computer and now I can't download the game. Rather not go through steam as that route has got problems of its own.

Yeah I know lots of people are going throw rocks at me for the suggestion but if it gets the player started then what the heck?

How does the Steam download work?

And does it make you do a 56.3mb update every.single.time you log into the game like the standard installer? Or is it a proper full install?
