3 buttons? To the people complaining people will be asking you for spells don't most buffs and protections have a mass version? Pop into a dungeon and hit like 3 buttons and off you go?

That's because they aren't supposed to be useful beyond the low levels. They exist to give a survivability kick at the levels where survivability is most threatened.are just not useful beyond the very low levels.
Lol no. You're thinking of a game that isn't based on D&D.every spell should remain useful at any character level
It seems that some spells like your stat buffs - Bulls strength, eagles splendor, etc and a few of your protection spells, mostly protection from energy, but others like your armor spells are just not useful beyond the very low levels. What would we think of making say the stat boosters a different kind of bonus so they stack with the base stuff you get from equipment? Energy protection is the one most in need of a scaling boost because in most cases it does not protect you from even a single hit. The spells are not worth the mana it takes to cast them.
The main advantage a wizard has over a sorc is I can get every spell in my spellbook to cover almost any situation. The way protection / buff spells work on here anything other then a nuke is a waste of a spell slot. This probably affects clerics worse then it does mages considering a lot of their spells are the protection and buff types. There has to be a way to make these spells actually worth using and not make them so overpowered spellcasters a cheat code for cruiising through the game.
Then the devs should create the high level spell level 7 spell Energy Immunity: <element which is either fire, cold, lightning, acid, sonic>, which is present in the D&D3.5e PC game Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinium.Lol no. You're thinking of a game that isn't based on D&D.

Yeah, if it would trivialize some stuff it would be slotted for sure. Sounds likely OP. An evo sorc does not REALLY need any of this (well, DBF if fire). DC sorc is rougher but could drop some of those. Then the devs should create the high level spell level 7 spell Energy Immunity: <element which is either fire, cold, lightning, acid, sonic>, which is present in the D&D3.5e PC game Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinium.
However, there is a lot of competition for level 7 slots: example: finger of death, Dancing Ball, Prismatic Spray, Mass Protection from Elements (that works without MCL from Primal Avatar core 3), and Delay Blast Fireball. A sorcerer is unlikely to slot that energy immunity spell even if it exists. Wizard, maybe.
True, it can make raids like Threats Old and New, Hunt or be Hunted, Riding the Storm Out, Killing Time trivial, or maybe just make it self-caster only? Or should the monsters cast debuff spells to strip out that buff?

Level | 3 | 6 | 9 | 12 | 15 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Barkskin spell | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 5 |
| Augment | 1 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 6 |
| Cannith Crafted | 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 8 |
| Named Item | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 8 |
This reminds me of when the level cap was 10 those buffs were essential to the point where a cleric would spend all their mana on buffs and would have to heal with wands.BUT in theory then you would then have all the players nagging the casters for various main stat buffs which would take up precious spell slots...
