chaos spellpower comes from alignment spell power which comes from radiance correct? so i should be looking for radiance lore items currently for wild mage crits? i know it's a silly time to be looking for gear ha ha

Yes. DBZ is wrong. In particular, you almost certainly want an insightful radiance lore orb.

Yes—but the lore is working fine.

Radiance also works. The only thing that (for some people) doesn't work is Dino crafted crit damage items.

IOD's light spell crit damage is currently only applying to light and not alignment (this was noticed thanks to the new spell power/crit/crit damage display info). I'd assume it'll be fixed soon enough.

After I outgrew the starter spell sticks, https://ddowiki.com/page/Eladrin_Chaosmancer (longswords), I Cannith Crafted on 2 augment slot spell sticks for more spell power on the elements with rubies. I might have also used a diamond of Spellsight on one of the as well.
