Still have a character stuck in Ghallanda. It's the only one that didn't make it.

I still have a character stuck on Ghallanda and has been for MANY months and I am starting to get quite sick at the lack of assistance from SSG to help resolve the issue. I successfully transferred over 100 other characters.
SSG knows quite well and has known since the transfers started that an improperly packed character can end up as being untransferrable except if it's done manually.
I have TOLD Customer Support several times that this is the problem.
But what happens ?
Zilch except for an inaccurate group e-mail "informing" me that my issue is "resolved" so let's close the ticket -- except NO and NOTHING of the sort and my character is still stuck.
So I respond to the ticket to tell them nope no go, as suggested in the group e-mail text, and then back to several months of total radio silence and ZERO real assistance for that problematic transfer.
Despite SSG actually knowing what the problem in question actually is.
It is deeply frustrating.

i got prepared in advance. Zero problems.
I did however Delete a few characters who were simply not worth the effort.
I'm in no way condoning SSG less than par work.
Question is your character crucial . If not simply forget and delete.
Question is your charater simply old memories. take the plinge and delete
Important . Your character has items that are impossible to get again. no longer in game , a freebie, etc
DEMAND SSG sort it out.

I would just keep trying. There's been a few people who have managed to get their toons transferred over after being stuck since the transfers began. I don't recall all of them, but below is someone who got their transfer to finally work at the end of April.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to who gets out of limbo or when, it just sort of happens. Stay persistent and keep at it. At least you have another year before the old servers are shut down to keep trying.

I don't know the why/how of it. It does seem like support does have the ability to unstick people (may depend on the specifics), but my guess is they are looking for a fix for all to release them.

Supreme Community Leader Snook has Used the Force, and my character is now properly transferred, unpacked, and cozy in her proper destination server.

The name after all this time was of course taken, but only to be expected -- but I thought quickly of a Basque/Gallego/Português/Catalán variant of it that I am happy with, though some others might scratch their heads at it. (it's pronouced exactly the same as my forum name)

So, for context, I had my cat trigger -- whatever, --during an LR, CS granted me another +3 heart.
Do I miss OG CS, you betcha. But here we are. I was V.Happy I got resolution.

For people who are still stuck unable to transfer a character from a 32-bit game world hit me up in a forum private message with your ticket number. PLEASE provide your ticket numbers in your messages to me. For the most part anyone left likely needs manual assistance, someone has to individually transfer them over, so if you are in that position, DM me your ticket number, character name, origin world and destination world. Thanks!
