Luckily, I had some reading to do this evening. So I was able to have LOTRO downloading in the background .

This is what I have to report from Southern Ontario, Canada (GMT-5/-4, and approximately 505 km from Boston, MA):

Sarlona: 29 ms
Cormyr: 71 ms
Orcrist (LOTRO EU): 99 ms

So for me- it will be a downgrade, in terms of latency, either way. Still very manageable though.

Yes, manageable, I have played all this time with a latency on the ship of 118-120 ms

Sadly I know, and I’m sitting on optical line and my provider is T-com which is huge one in this part of EU.
