Chinese Style Armor Collection

Lately the Cosmetic Forum hasn’t been very active, so I thought I’d make a few threads to help keep it alive.

This time I gathered together some armors with a Chinese inspired look.

DDO characters are built from a combination of texture patterns and separate upper layer armor parts. I tried to sort these Chinese style armors by their different combinations as much as possible.

Looking at them, I get the feeling there are still plenty of undiscovered combinations out there.
Especially the one in the bottom right. I think that one is a rare case using an unfamiliar upper layer part combination.

......I hope the Cosmetic Forum becomes active again.

Nice collection. You gonna tell folks what they are or are we just supposed to guess? :p

There’s no wiki page for randomly generated cosmetics, so I’m hoping to use this as a kind of reference collection.
I also hope this helps people enjoy another side of DDO beyond just builds and questing.

You're missing the old splintmail from about 15 or so years ago, not as colorful but has that Japanese bamboo samaurai armor look. Thinkl I still have one some where, made a cosmetic from it.

If anyone knows what this outfit is, please let me know.
Is it a Store item by any chance?

I'm fairly certain the outfit pictured there is Black Bull Outfit with Battle Sash, though I am uncertain if its still available anywhere. There were MANY cosmetic styles removed from the store and never made available again when they converted BTItem cosmetics into the new BTA Glamer slot cosmetics.

BTW my contribution to this category:

So, are these all brigandines or something? The red one in the top right with the sash is super pretty, as is the one two to its left. Can they still be found in-game?
