I haven't yet downloaded and logged into the game since I'm at work, but what I was wondering:
I played DDO for like maybe an hour back in 2010 or earlier, but I was curious to look at it again since I was talking to a friend about it (I play LOTRO regularly).
My main question is what would be the recommend class that has good sustain, defense, and damage, which is able to solo content well and possibly group content? As LOTRO is the game I know (hoping some folks here play both games), I'll just use a comparison from that game. I play the Beorning, which has crazy health sustain and quite good damage and defense, which allowed me to solo a lot of group instances and other group landscape content, so kind of looking at something similar. I've played MMOs for 20 years, so I'm fairly adept at learning classes and playing the more complex rotations and things, so it's not an issue if suggested class is more complicated. I'd also be willing to pay for premium class(es) if needed (lord knows I pay too much on other MMOs as is), but I'm curious to know people's thoughts. Thanks for the help!
