Cleric-Dragonlord. Melee DPS, CC & self healing. Full endgame build.

I like reading build posts so I thought I would post my own.

Class split: 14 Cleric 6 Dragonlord
Race: Aasimar

Goals:
The primary goal is to reliably and quickly solo R6+ by using AoE CC, AoE burst damage, face-tanking bosses and efficient self healing. No kiting, excessive clicking or any swapping. The secondary goal is to function well as a DPS, CC and off-tank in R10 pugs.

The build as posted makes use of maximum racial action points, maximum destiny points, maximum universal action points, +8 tomes and heroic completionist. On the flip side here is only one raid item required.
The build is designed to play perfectly on an x-box controller.

Key notes (all posted stats are outside of reaper and no special buffs or any pots):
14 cleric levels for the Heal spell and Holy Sword along with Divine Power and +7 DC/+4 to hit & dmg from War domain.
6 dragon lord levels for roar, +2 crit multiplier and strength trance.
Capstone in VKF for maximum DPS with kukri.
Aasimar for healing amp, PRR/MRR and extra HP.

Main offensive features: SWF, 14-20x5 crit profile, 100 Strength with strength trance, 300+ melee power, 95%+ double strike, 14 haste boost charges, Quick Cutter, Whirlwind Attack and Rapid Slash for AoE burst damage.

Main defensive features: 3600+ HP, 330+ PRR, 190+ MRR, 25%+ dodge, 40% HP multiplier.

Main self healing featues: CL 21 Heal spell with 320% healing amp, 400+ positive spell power, 26% positive spell crit chance.

Main tactics/CC features: Dragons Roar at DC 126, Improved trip with helpless at DC 132, Improved Sunder with -100% fortification and -20% AC at DC 127. Legendary Salt proc on weapon.

Weakness: Low movement speed, no dodge clicky except Action Hero. No LGS PRR debuff. Cleric symbol, if you join R10 LFMs people may expect you to be a party healer before they see you crush the kill count.

Notable trade-off: I am not picking up Crush Weakness or an artifact bonus to helplessness damage. I find +40% to be enough and helpless monsters are no threat anyways.

Playstyle:
Stun mobs with Roar and burst them down with rapid slash, quick cutter and whirlwind attack. Hit stragglers with improved trip and repeat.
For bosses pop Action Hero and face tank. Heal through the reaper penalty thanks to healing amp and spell power.

Enhancements, 18 Racial and 2 Universal:
18 Aasimar - Take all tiers of healing amp and Ascendant bond. I don't bother with Healing Hands or Divine purpose.
41 VKF - You have to grab almost everything in T4 and below to get the capstone. Haste Boost from here and not the Dragonlord tree. Strength in both +1 ability nodes.
35 Dragon Lord - Take every Tier 5 except Flight of Kings. Dragons Roar, strength trance, perma displace. Strength in both +1 ability nodes.
6 Stalwart Defender - Defensive stance with +25 PRR/MRR.

Comments: This set-up requires +2 universal APs from tomes and racial completionist along with +3 racial APs from tomes. Flight of kings would be sweet but there are not enough points. The 25 PRR/MRR from SD is very good value when soloing. If you group a lot and don't want the extra aggro you can drop it and pick up Flight of Kings.

Epic Destinies 83 points:
Legendary Dreadnought 35: Take all cores and every T5. Take all mantle nodes, Armor of Dusk, Extra Action boosts, Strike with Fear, Esoteric Touch, Epic Tactics. One point in Action Boost: Tactics to proc Prowess and Guarded action if I every run out of haste boosts. Dire Charge is ignored completely.
Fury of the Wild 25: All cores. Quick Cutter, Primal scream. The Voice of Fury and Top Dog in T4.
Divine Crusader 23: All cores. Rend Armor in T4.

Comments: Top Dog and Rend armor grants Improved Trip and Improved sunder respectively, which synergizes with Sundering Swings in LD. Improved trip with helplessness and 7 second cooldown is very strong and complements Dragons Roar well by tripping stragglers. Improved Sunder with Sundering Swings and Sunder Evil gives -100% fortification and -20% AC, use it on bosses to never graze a hit or fail a crit again. Sunder also strips an elemental immunity via the dragonlord tree.

Gear:
Only once piece of raid gear, The Labrythine Edge Kukri. No rare MD loot.
Feather fall and Deathblock curses saves augment slots.

Nice build. I did something very similar but with FVS instead of Cleric, for a FVS past life. And THF instead of SWF (just personal preference, I enjoy strikethrough even though its worse single target DPS). These divine/DL splashes are very strong. Pally/DL was too when I did that. Really strong combo having holy sword plus the +2 crit multi in DL, plus DL CC and trance. These builds just about do everything you would ever want.

im confused about the benefit with holy sword- its listed as competence bonus on wiki so that means it wont stack with either vistani tree multi/range NOR the 2x multi from DL. unless there was a change thats not on the wiki. im also unsure how youre getting 14-20 x5 because without holy sword im seeing 15-20x4. i see that it also gives a +1 enhancement bonus. cool, but im still wondering where the last multiplier is coming from. im using kukris and gettign 15-20x4 with DL x2

HS will give +1 range to Kukri as the +1 range in Vistani only applies to daggers (and throwing daggers)

Vistani does not give crit range to kukris. So the missing crit range is from holy sword. The missing crit multiplier is likely from the epic feat Patience.

Can you comment on The Labrythine Edge Kukri vs. Undying age kukri? They have weird names but it basically has Vacuum and Salt?

I could make the Undying one, but don't run PN as much how much worse would it be?

Sure. The Undying Age Kukri is in most cases a better option as you can add Legendary Dust to it for a massive DPS increase (-35 PRR debuff to the target).
The Labrythine Edge Kukri has Legendary Salt which slows enemies. It also has Enhanced Bloodrage for a nice buff. It is very nice, but it is hard to pick it over 35% more DPS.

I used the Labrythine Edge Kukri because that is the only raid tier Kukri I have.

do you use an orb or anything? is it worth it to use the melee orb from vecna? does the offhand versatility going from the stat to dmg and changing to 1 imbue dice make a big difference that the orb itself wouldnt make up for? i dont know the numbers on it to say either way.

Using an orb would lower your damage. 1 imbue dice is not worth much and shield bash requires some more investment to pay off.

If you take the feat Improved shield bashing for +20% bash chance, +15% from Divine Crusader and +22% from the orb, with ~2 attacks per second you end up at getting ~0,8 bashes per second.

The orb has charisma to damage and int to-hit and poor crit profile so it will be pretty low damage and will miss often.

Having an empty off hand with 100 str grants you +11 damage that scales with the 14-20x5 crit profile and doublestrike and is applied to active attacks (which is a large percentage of attacks you will be doing).

i didnt even see the stats for hit and dmg on the orb. that is annoyingly bad. thanks for clarifying. i wasnt really even looking at it from the standpoint of shield bashing, more just the extra slot - the set on the orb-extra weapon augment, the stats themselves on the orb (qual doublestrike and whatever else).

The guardbreaking is phenomenal (i had it on kinesis on a monk life) but sovereign vorp/dripping would be a nice dps boost. i dont have the fully slotted jewels to do both, but i suppose the maw would be great for clearing trash and the undying for bosses.

also, does the sanctified fervor religious lore MP on smite work on Divine crusader smite? if so, thats a HUGE 1 minute melee power buff to use on a swap for a very minimal ED point investment in a tree we are ALREADY going into.

I would pick Maw. Guardbreaking is great.

The idea for smite and sanctified fervor should work great if you don't mind another maintenance button.
