The posters' suggestions above are the best you are going to get for what DDO has available, unfortunately. I, personally, do NOT like how some hoods meet up with robes on some races. There can be a gap at the neck and shoulders that just looks awkward and unrealistic. Some armors will cover this gap with bulky neck plates or shoulder pieces but then you lose the hooded-robe concept.
As long as the hood and robe lines up together on your race I would probably choose either Cowl of the Devotee or White Hood of Schemes to go with Robes of the Black Earth and either an ALL black cloak or no cloak. Its too bad the Faded Hunter's Cloak is BTC iconic because it looks the most ecclesiastical for this situation. As it is, I seldom use hoods in this game because that neck gap just aggravates me to no end if I happen to be on a race where the two items don't quite connect.
