If people can phase into my physical space and piss with me, I'd have bigger concerns. Timecop (1994) taught me this is a dangerous idea.
It would be efficient and solve the issue of bathroom queues during half time at football games.

yes i do tend to use more out of the way places anyway, that are quiet, but more from a performance point of view than being crowded

Why marketplace though? Many places the bank spaces are empty. 3BC, Isle of Dread, Guild Ship bank, Kundarak (not as empty), Myth Drannor (not as empty), Lurdendorf (not as empty), Feywild, Bloody Wine tavern (Ravenloft) bank.

If DDO had collision detection and blocked people (I seem to remember it might have done so a long time ago in a galaxy far,far away?) then maybe there could be an argument for banking etiquette but it doesn't so effectively it means nothing and with the bank & inventory windows open I find it hard to believe it's that immersion breaking?

If DDO had collision detection and friendly fire, i.e. you swing the sword/great sword/<other melee weapon> and a friendly stand right in front of the swing. Oops, it hit the friendly instead of the monster.

Or a fireball, or other <AoE> attacks....

It seems collision detection only happens with enemy targets.

I don't always go to the guild ship bank, but when I do...I first open a trade window with any guildy in my way. 😊

I know it's early, but I'm going to go ahead and call it, torkz has won the internet for today!

lmao!!

And there's your solution OP.

Now maybe I am being a bit precious here, and if so please say so, but if I am stood in an empty bank, no other players in the bank at all, and someone comes in and and just stands on top of me. I view that as being very rude and I will automatically view that person as an incredibly self centred person with absolutely no idea that a world exists outside of themselves. Am I right?
Crying about a silly thing like that in a game without player collision surely is a choice, maybe u should stop trying to turn everything into a problem?

Them he would get mad at that too, because people would kill him XD

Correction: get him killed by a mimic. Actually, that maybe a fun event. Either line up to talk to a bank teller or get in a fight and talk to the teller first... with a chance of mimic spawning during the fight as part of the mimic event with alarms sounding. Pirates and kobolds may come in and try to get inline ahead of the players and attackable. Now, kobold will remember not only Waterworks, but also Lordsmarch Bank! 🤣😆

And it would improve the sales of the personal VIP banker lol aka Town Services (in LoTRO).

I take pride in the little things I do to make other folks experience life better. It sounds like you might too but if you want my advice, I would not expect others to do so or concern yourself over such things.

I take it as a mission to make at least one person smile or laugh everyday.

It's the little things that will save society...Hence an $18 billion lawsuit against META. "Social Media"...Yeah, anything but.

Forget R11...Just bring friendly fire into the mix for those who want a challenge.

'I took out all those trash mobs, as well as three of my companions.'. That is tough content, but they don't want that.
