Combat): You attack The Five Fangs. You roll a 6 (+191): you miss!

When I was running the event Silith Blade Master had ~325 AC in r1 Sharn. So you would be ~50/50 grazing there too.

Looks reasonable to me.

For far, far too long, the general advice was "just get your attack to an OK level and you'll hit on a 2, so focus entirely on damage".

While seeing any grazing blows is morally reprehensible and I feel your pain, high to-hit builds should also be rewarded. 191 is not terrible, but a bit low. If you were grazing on a 6 with a 220 or something...OK, different conversation. It also rewards teamwork and makes buffing actually matter. When was the last time pugs coordinated buffing to-hit? Possibly a decade.

With the example Blade Master enemy you would need roughly a +315 to hit to still graze it on a 6. Perhaps we need some more % bonus to hit from abilities to toss into the formula to overcome the *2 that AC gets.

+10.5 vs *2 is becoming a problem.

This is how we make caster dps relevant in raids again 🤣
*coughs* 😂, what if the monster has billion of HP and the caster DPS went dry...?

Here comes the dragon disciple caster DPS... since ki is infinite.
Or warlock, sure... if the raid leader can wait for the wimpy slow steady DPS...

I see no issue. I've been reliably informed by some totally not delusional forumites that melee dps is 2-3 times higher than everything else. So you have nothing to complain about.

I've never gotten a bonus this high, even when trying.

This is gonna be a smack in the face for more casual players. (assuming Troll played on normal)
I've found it is generally best to avoid all new content for at least a year until power creep has had a chance to catch up to the newer content. I've never regretted not participating in content when it was new.

002 Scion of Arborea feat
003 Shattered Device 2pc bonus
001 Reaper’s Offense I
001 Reaper’s Offense II
002 Reaper’s Offense IV
010 Eerie Aim feat
-02 Yugo pot (Essence of Betrayal)

190 to-hit when face tanking

Hmm, miss. TWF, offhand attack?

But yes, ACs lately have gone way up.
Maybe they have been adjusting the AC targets to deal with inquisitive builds and at the same time nerf some other builds that werent balanced enough in SSG’s preferences to be focusing enough on to hit versus other abilities? I suspect melee’s could be hit with this and then have to move around some of their gear and trees to compensate, balancing them similar to what has happened to casters in the past.

We all have known that melee’s were going to be the next in the crosshairs, this maybe just the start of what is to come.
