Connections issues all (CET) morning

All those years of fiscal responsibility powered by the gaslight steam-engine are finally bearing dividends. This is what happens when technical debt demands payment. Cheers to the decision makers whose wonderful leadership has brought about the crippling lag and unplayable game. The buck stops at the top, and blaming players doesn't hold water when we don't write the code or make decisions.

And all this happening during the holidays, prime playing time. What a bigly win. The bigliest win. That brings many tears to manly eyes.

Should we place bets on if Q4 sales even meet lowered expectations? I've never seen the game in such bad shape, nor the community so demoralized.

I'm surprised that more than 12 hours later there is still no comment from SSG. They could at least say they are investigating...

This started on Sunday I believe and that is when people started posting. So we're much closer to 72 hours than 12.

I don't remember which post though and I'm too lazy this morning to look for it. Maybe we started talking about it in a lag thread instead of it having it's own topic.

You are right that the first posts were from Sunday and maybe some earlier. But yesterday there was an explosion of posts, showing not isolated cases, but a widespread problem.

And yet, no one at SSG informs us of anything...

We should probably check Discord.

And my comment about where it was posted Sunday was finding an excuse for them not knowing. Not sure why I felt the need to do that.

I'm not on discord, and I don't plan on going there. They should keep us informed on the forums about any problems with the game! And on the launcher too!

I agree. I'm on Discord, just not their server. A guildy is though and I usually ask him for info from there when I want to know.

I agree completely. I understand that discord is probably easier, but this is the game forum, if they want everyone to go to Discord then they should announce it here and INFORM folks that this is no longer where any info is dispensed and that it is now the Discord channel.. They can't have it like the Vogons in Hitchhikers guide.
