Contaminated?

Several of the alchemist poison admixture + poison breath descriptions state that they "leave the enemies Contaminated".

I cannot find what 'contaminated' means. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

look in the enhancement trees for something like "if you hit a contaminated target, then this and that stuff happens"

That helps - thx. I was looking at conditions in 3.5e/5e and didn't see a comparison and the wiki was vague. That completes the puzzle!
