Cormyr is an epic fail as far as lag goes :(

I was so hoping to jump onto a 64 bit server and have no lag. It is far far worse than I have experienced on Ghal for years. Could not move. for 30 seconds at a time frequently. In quest / in harbour / market etc.
Awful. Sorry devs really hoping you had got it right but sadly no.

There are a lot of groups up as I play right now. But surely that's the point?

Kind of interesting in that the LotRO 64bit servers have done a fairly decent job of cutting back on the lag. Wonder why it was 100% out here?

Great job showing that you didn't read or listen to any communications from the developers. The developers described what this upgrade was aiming to do and based off of what is described in the following livestream (starts at the two minute mark) and my own experiences on both Lamannia and Cormyr it definitely achieved that goal.

What it never was going to achieve nor did it attempt to was the complete removal of lag and the developers never once stated that was the goal.

Doesn’t even have full speed Artificers

You realize a lot of us pay SSG to actually play the game right?
I'm aware that a great number of the community pay them despite not being happy. It's almost like they dumped WIS in real life.

Don’t worry the same people that brought you MD used the no lag 64bit build to fix … the crab fight in wpm.

Everything is fine, just fight in there.

It still may be an issue of the server not evenly distributing people across instances. According to Cordovan, the main reason they brought the server down on Wednesday was because it was putting too many people in the same instance, as he put it, too many people in too small a space, so I wonder if it's still not distributing people as well as it could be doing.

One area I have noticed lag improving, at least in the 32-bit side of things, was The Shroud. I've had an opportunity to run it a couple times since they worked on it, and I was anticipating the crippling lag after each section going to the chests but it never happened until the final chests. I have yet to run it on Cormyr, but as Tolero has said the quests are the same across both 64 and 32 bit architectures, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it runs the same.

Also on the last Friday's at Four, Cordovan addressed the fact that the DDO team knows about hitching issues and it's something they're working on. I've noticed it across both architectures, maybe more so 32-bit, but at least they are aware of it and are working on it.

64-bit servers were a failure ? Who would thought ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Developers ?
Who cares about developers when we've got at least a couple of topics where all the forum people, including YOU (!!!), posed as prophets predicting bright no lag future ? We just have to wait a little bit and the 64bit magic makes lag away...
Yeah, right.

Where are all those prophets now ? Went into hiding while thinking of some excuses about "developers said otherwise" ?

Well, thanks for a good laugh, this forum never let me down. 😁😁😁😁

Same garbage lockups of instances wiping parties and unable to move in public for 2-10 minutes each. Hope SSG is getting data that is worth this legendary suffering and loss of time spent towards our HC lantern goals.

Three times in two hours, I had to ALT-F4 due to lag so bad that I couldn't move for several minutes. When trying to jump, my feet were planted but my arms flapped like I was trying to fly. I could see other people moving, so it wasn't affecting everyone. However, it wasn't on my end as, during the most recent incident, I had 182Mbps down and 33Mbps up so my connection was fine.

I'm about the same distance from the new server as the old servers, so distance shouldn't be a factor.

I have no idea what's going on. For reference, two of the three times I had issues were in the Eberron Hall of Heroes.
