Could we remove the shard reroll limit on Lamannia for drop rate testing purposes?

Can we datamine the thing you are desperately keeping secret and not have to sacrifice a $1000 for it?
Great try!

This is the same as publishing the odds.
No.
Their stated objection is "we don't want to explicitly tell players information", not "we don't want players to have the information".

If that's genuine this change would allow us to easily test stuff like this
https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads/is-there-an-early-ransack-mechanic.18753/page-2#post-243821
and
Without them having to make statements.

It also allows reasonable feedback on item drop rates, because lets be honest, who is going to manually farm rare items on a test server?

I have to agree that the drop rates need to be public even if its just the average drop rate.

even Oldschool RuneScape's staff confirm if a drop rate is accurate from their fans wiki. like come on i'm still hunting the jack jibbers blade sense it came out and its SUPOST TO BE A COMMON DROP.

for example lets take mist of ravenloft's intro quest "into the mist"
it has 4 items for Heroic and legendary we could have them post the drop rate average here on the forums or even just have them post it directly to the DDO wiki it self after a few days but here is a general example of what I was thinking:
Blurfingered Gloves (1/x~)
Manlte of Fury (1/x~)
Silverthread Cloak (1/x~)
Vistani Fighter's Sash (1/x~)

cause its one of those things were we have chest ransacks for both quests and raids yet we can't reroll raid chests so we get 1/8th the chance of getting a specific item.

and sense we also know some named times can drop in multiple quests or even in multiple chests in the same dungeon it would be nice to know if a chest that is defended by a fight or even a trap is even worth going after if that chest's drop rate is utter crap.... yes i'm looking ay you jibbers its been years and none of my toons have gotten one (10 characters)

That way we don't have to redo quest to test if items are dropping at intended/desired rates.
Unfortunately not. The devs (Steelstar) has said that they get their data by players rerolling chests. We are their QA team. I mean, just look at tomorrow's update ... it's all to fix their terrible job at copying + pasting which was caught by the players.

I was taking a break for a while but apparently, they put the wrong drops in a quest, and had some item improperly listed as rare?
