Crafting advice

Not a new player, but apperently im too dumb to figure this out myself (or the crafting system is, judge yourself):

Why i cannot put this shard into this item? When i put both items into crafting station, it shows no recipes.

I'm surprised as well. But I did some playing around with this planner: http://ccplanner.byethost14.com/
And it looks like that Insightful Spell Resistance is requiring minimum level 10.

But I really did not think anything other than extra slots worked that way....

If thats the case, nowhere in the game it is indicated as such. Prefix is prefix, extra is extra. Neither shard itself or recipe for it in crafting station, mention minimum level requirement. Classic ddo.
