Running two accounts. Primary is playing in windowed full screen 3840x2160. Secondary is windowed 2560x1440. Since the latest windows up date, or if changes were made Wed during downtime. Log in, put in password, server selected, click play. Splash screen, second screen with blue bar receiving character data. Little pause and a black screen then DDO is gone and I am at desktop. No error message, crash report, and process is terminated when I look in task manager. Thought maybe the VPN was causing some sort of issues, shut it down, took four tries to get on.
Playing a bit and switching resolutions and windowed vs windowed full screen seems to be causing the issue but can't get nailed down exactly why because it doesn't always happen.
Any ideas?
Had both accounts on. Logged out on the main (4k). At character select, picked character. Opened in a 2k window and then crashed. Best guess is the swapping resolutions is confusing DDO. Guess I'll knock the main down to 2k and see if the problem clears.
Kicked the main monitor down to 2560x1440 so both monitors are in the same resolution. Same thing happens. Crashed 2x so far. 3rd try got one account logged in. Logging in second account crash, second attempt got in.
Haven't ran the second account on the second monitor and the issue went away. System seems to not like running both.
