Crystal Cove returns July 18th!

The Crystal Cove event begins next Thursday and continues through July 28th! This is a return of the event as it existed last time around, so there is not new loot for this encore. We've been hearing from players who wanted the event to return and we agree that it's been a while, so we wanted to bring it back prior to the release of Myth Drannor. Enjoy!

I still have 10's of thousands of gems to trade in. Along with 90k+ of Green Dragonshards. (I ran out of time last time it was open.) :cry:

We need an update of the event where all kobolds go crazy and riot over the island. Although I guess that's the story of the anniversary event :/

DDO doesn't really have enough events to spread them out so much. Why not just leave CC, mabar, snow stuff on so people can get them? There's a whole lot of nothing in between.

Other MMOs had many more events so that there was only maybe a couple weeks of nothing in between, but they repeated enough that you didn't have to cram it all into 2 weeks.

I disliked Crystal Cove so much that when Three Barrel Cove came around, I avoided it like the plague. I was a returning player at the time and did know the difference. It was like back to back seeing them on lfm panel. Took me years to want to try 3bc, glad I did as it is great xp. To this day, I do not visit Crystal Cove. Mimics would be fun though, makes me stop and do options for a chance at mimics. Nice change in game play when that event came around.

Awesome! My favorite--the only real MMORPG event left on DDO. Thank you.

Can we get pirate airships that make us run for the cover in the slayer area in the future?

Please and thanks.

(If possible can there be 3 types of champion airships to randomly delpoy with chance for extra chest?)

EDIT ~ And chacne for the airship chest to be a champion mimic. Super please and many thanks!

Sadly “events” bring more server lag. So while I too would enjoy the option of playing them whenever I want, please do not make them all year round.
