Haven’t been able to run the cove as none are doing it that I see
On Argonessen last night EXTREME Mortal Voyage Permadeath had one full group plus another almost full group running it. Crystal cove is a great time for us, we see lots of activity daily and everyone wants to run it because very few of our groups go into the quests due to the dodge/concealment/miss chance crystal cove champs.

Compared to other games that i play, i really thing crystal cove is up there with one of the best special events. (I must admit grinding for the compass can be a bit tedious, especially if you are in a group and your the only one without a compass and everyone is waiting for you to get one before you can start the event).

After getting a single compass after running Crystal Cove once you should have more than enough Stolen Gems to be able to get a dozen or more compasses. It is just the initial one that takes a little time to get. On a lv 37 run of Crstal Cove I get on average 200 Stolen Jaspers which when turned in equals 50 compasses. Just make sure to save Stolen Gems or Doubloons so you can transfer to another toon if you want them to run thru Crystal Cove at some point.
Just remember Stolen Gems/Doubloons are BTA, Compasses are BTC! (No idea why.)
In the past we had to get Map Pieces to unlock Crystal cove for 40 minutes stretches at a time. The current way the event is run is great IMO.

the number of times the kobolds will simply do nothing remains irritatingly high. Cove is on a timer so when they simply stand doing nothing and you have no way to force them to move their *ss...
