Crystal Cove

I get bored with placing the same torches in the same caves. And that damned hurdy gurdy droning drives me up the wall.
Sure that running without a goal gets boring.
But if you see this challenge as doing always the same action at the same place, most quests are in a way no better : they're always more or less the same too, safe when a pack of reapers spawn at once.

That's hilarious. We won't bring back laggy event A because we're concentrating on performance. Laggy event B is coming though!
Yeah, while Halloween is a bit more important than the pirate day, not lagging is significantly more important. I'd rather skip it if the game is still lagging then.

Crystal Cove will likely never be back this has been discussed on the forums already months ago, they have completely broken the ability for kobolds to path on torch lines reliably. It would just be another embarassing moment for them.

Note: if the pathing ever was fixed then i could see its return, but not likely.

Broken by lag fixing changes?

I am not sure if I remember right, but torch mechanics for kobolds are probably also in some standard challenges that are still available, so I guess it is broken too?
Last time I did them was about 2 or 3 years ago and even if kobolds were not perfect at doing exactly what you want, it was still playable enough.
It was fun gameplay for me that brings some diversity to regular quests, so I would prefer to keep it.

Nooo, I might be in the minority but I love Crystal Cove. I've been looking forward to running it again, plus I need some Festive Strength augs.

Kobold sad.
Me sad too , though I don't really mind about the augments of festive strength now.
Just wanna break my record.

Could we get something in return? maybe a coupon for 1 item of choice from the CC event?
the loot is outdated, Lynnabel did a refresh on the items several years back, even though that effort was/is appreciated, the work fell short of where it should be.

No thanks, this game is bloated with half-useful stuff.
