On Thelanis doing Crystal Cove I pretty much just ran that the entire season using Mightofoaks. I managed to complete 265 runs and this is what my bio looked like at the end of the season:

Quick count: 71 runs at 800+, 11 runs at 900+ and the highest was 976.
In the end I ended up with 202k+ Green Dragonshards. I was able to spend 90k before the server maintenance started. What slowed me down was the Stone Gem turn-in which was very slow. I will be making the recommendation that we have higher value turns like 10, 100 and 1000 at a single transaction. If this doesn't happen my plan will be to get a level appropriate toon and farm the need gems by entering the Crystal Cove killing everything, recalling and doing it again, 2k-3k should work for each type. Note: if you have a level 8 toon they can farm lv 4, 8, and 12 Stolen Gems.
To address the question about compasses: one run at lv 32 gets you 250-300+ Stolen Jaspers. 2 of the Jaspers traded in for opals then Doubloons gets you 1 compass. That means after 1 run thru you are set for compasses. As a note I ended up with 60k+ Stolen Jaspers.
