Why couldn't you just leash the mobs , so if people wanna run through , they can and not impact other players? Always best to allow people to play the way they enjoy. If you want to encourage killing mobs , do it with more bonuses , rather than penalties , since penalties make people unhappy . Personally I kill most of the mobs I encounter , in hopes of getting more xp .
