Data Centers on the Moon

The BBC has a positive article about putting data centers on the moon and all the problems it would solve. It would seem to resolve disparities in latency based on how close to the DDO data center you happen to be located. Since everyone (on Earth) will be 1.25 seconds away from the data center (giving a total latency of 2.5 seconds).

Somehow that doesn't sound playable.

Geosync satellites 20,000km away not sensible enough for an options for all so we settle onthe giantest fartherest away satellite instead...

This is a very funny formulation of “all problems” my solution on the BBC article.

That a neurologist can not cure multiple sclerosis, a cardiologist coronary artery disease, an angiologist can't cure Buerger's disease, arteriosclerosis or Raynaud's disease, an oncologist can't cure cancer or prevent its formation, a diabetologist can't cure diabetes, a rheumatologist can't cure chronic progressive gout, bechterew's disease or osteoarthritis, a dermatologist can't cure psoriasis, an allergist can't cure asthma, a gastroenterologist can't cure peptic ulcer disease or cirrhosis liver. All of these diseases and more are considered incurable, and the specialists I have mentioned use a various therapeutic measures knowing that they will never lead to a full cure. The surgeon cuts out the diseased appendix or gall bladder and thinks to himself that it could not be otherwise.

guys!?....

Minor improvement. Doubt it's worth the cost though.
