On behalf of the VIPs I'd like to thank SSG for this bountiful bonus.

My advise to the non-VIPs is to stop being poor.
lol

IDk if yall caught my outkast reference but thats what came to my mind when the word segregation popped up

Is it active? I didn't see it on an xp readout earlier today.
You might be looking in the wrong location for the VIP XP info. Here you can see 2,955 bonus VIP XP. (10% + 15%) of 11,822 = 2955.5.

Extend it through the midsummer weekend please!
I get 1,5 days off work.
To compensate for the past life bugs.

Not that I care about the XP because it's just XP and there is tons of it to go around, but VIP's value should come from within the VIP program, not through DDO bonus days or anything else. The fastest way to lose players is to go out of your way to tell them they mean less than nothing to you. One step forward two steps back with you guys. Always.

Nonsense. Just because someone else (VIP) gets a bonus does not mean that non-VIP "mean less than nothing".

Sometimes crafters get a bonus, sometimes those that want guild renown gets a bonus, sometimes VIP get a bonus. Most bonusses are not for everyone anyway.

Also, running a VIP xp bonus at a time where there is an increased use of Ottos boxes is just plain good salesmanship as that gives people a reason to go VIP even for a short time.

A little less "victim" would go a long way here :)

it would be good salesmanship IF they had put Ottos up in the shop, so have to disagree that they 'had good salesmanship' ;)

You have a point there. Though, part of selling Ottos is making people purchase in larger quantities when they are for sale, larger than you really "need". If they always put Ottos for sale at the "most used" time they might sell less boxes overall, or they might sell more. So, it is not such a clear call in my opinion.

Yep. I'm not in a rush toward anything specific, so I can just buy points when they're on sale and then later on buy the stuff I want when it goes on sale. I've never seen Otto's Boxes discounted, but no reason to buy them with full price points.

Nobody is a victim here, just stating the plain obvious to everyone not a complete and total "sycophant." Cool. Quotes are fun.

Aye, and some people can adher to that.

But others buy points on sale intending to later buy Ottos boxes. But somehow the points seem to have vanished when Ottos go on sale and then they complain and/or buy more points to buy Ottos. And maybe they intend to use those Ottos when the xpac comes but somehow the Ottos boxes are gone by that time :)

Some people just plan and follow through better than others :)

I used some Ottos myself years ago but these days I find leveling plenty fast. I am happy others buy and use Ottos though as that supports the game financially and does not hurt me.

I like that a part of the explicit VIP bonus is occasional VIP XP bonus days.

You are 100% trying to play the "I am a poor little victim feel sorry for me" card when you write "less than nothing".

There is absolutely nothing plainly obvious about what you wrote - its pure whining with nothing to back it up and the fact that you completely ignore the explanation I gave you only further enforces that view.

Discount indeed :)
