DDO Bonus Days!

Nod

I don't work for SSG- I pay their bills.
Thanks Cordo! :) <3 Although my guild is capped and most are, I love pumping up my personal guild renown numbers. Can't wait to grind this weekend

Sweet! Another Guild Renown bonus!!!! Definitely shouldn't have been a VIP or other xp bonus given the two extended downtimes in the past two weeks!

*pretends to act surprised*
DDO Bonus Days is not related to any kind of downtime or related make-good. It's also been pretty recently that both of those bonuses were active, but they will certainly return in the near future.

I understand they're not tied to downtimes, however changing around the rotation of the same recycled bonuses to factor in more useful bonuses (almost as a "make up" for the significant downtimes) would go a long way with your player base. Especially considering the downtime yesterday was extended even though not all of the items in the patch notes were built into the update due to the issues you mentioned. This was a missed opportunity.

And it is also known that the bonus days are not automated, so can be made to be anything, including supporting goodwill from the playerbase due to challenges faced.

Rightfully or not, when you get so many comments like this does it not occur to someone to change how you do these things?

From our end, it feels like there is zero cost to you/ssg but significant goodwill to gain in your player base.

It's frankly mind boggling to so many of us that you don't ...

I'm long convinced they enjoy it.

I expect that anyone still leveling a guild will enjoy this bonus.
If they're worried about people levelling a guild, maybe they should consider scaling guild renown saga rewards based on level rather than having a 15000 flat guild renown bonus whether its a lvl 3 saga or a level 34 saga.

Because we wouldn't want to do that, right?

But you can do it to make us feel we receive something for the last 3 longs downtimes that don't cost you nothing and everyone happy.
Trying to explain good PR to SSG has been a lost cause for years. I admire your tenacity though.
