Thanks for quick reply! This boost adds ten to your behind-the-scenes loot roll, essentially.
So, for example, Elite has a 43% chance of dropping named loot instead of 33%?
It does not have effect on named loot drop chance. Increases your chance to get extra stuff on your loot. Like mastercrafted or reaper bonus. Probably mythic as well. Thanks for quick reply!

Could we get a more detailed breakdown of how the loot roll system works sometime? This boost adds ten to your behind-the-scenes loot roll, essentially
Also it would be nice if this reset chest ransack timers, or we were notified a week in advance.DDO Bonus Days bring you a +10 Treasure Hunter's Boost, now through July 28th!
That setting has zero effect on chests. That's entirely for what items that NPCs offer you when you turn in a quest. For example, if it's turned-on when I'm a warlock, I get offered a ton of wands; if it's off, I get offered very few wands because it's drawing from a huge RNG loot list then.In particular I'd like more detailed information about how the likelihood of class affects the likelihood of items in the end rewards.
I know, but I would like the specifics for end rewards, as there are a few items I might try to hunt for via end rewards. That setting has zero effect on chests. As I understand the loot mechanics you have a 1to n(probably 100) number that is rolled when a chest is opened. In each bracket you have loot types that can drop (like daily dice). The higher your roll the better the loot prefixes/suffixes/reaper/mythic and then access to a rare item tier. So this should increase drop rates of tomes, elixirs, ioun stones, airship deeds, etc. But not named items, artifacts, or other exclusive named loot.Does it do that, or just boost the level of found loot by 10?
That's about as informative as saying "it boosts your treasure hunting by +10".This boost adds ten to your behind-the-scenes loot roll, essentially.
This seemed to be our case as well. When you were talking about Dino Bone crafting in the other thread, we had just wrapped (within a week or two???) of one of these weekends, and we made a killing in IOD as well as Saltmarsh (me and my brother pretty much memorized the runs for these). I think we'll probably add Mists to the mix as a quick run to ransack as well... ?This is a good time to run the Saltmarsh wilderness (visit all rare spawn sites 8 times). Just pulled 11 named + 7 artifacts + 1 xp + 4 rare filigrees. This is about double my average by total sentient gem experience.
