It's been a while since I've done this so I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the bonus is turned on (for Khyber anyway).

When I craft a shard I am getting exactly the amount of xp shown by the crafting device in the shard description. Is this right or should it be what is shown +50% more due to the weekend bonus?

I believe the weekend bonus (and crafting bonus pots) are shown in the crafting interface.

Thanks for that. What made me wonder is I'm also still only getting 5xp per dissolved item, which I assumed would be higher because of the bonus.

Just a heads up for anyone taking advantage of this boost. If you've unlocked the VIP 10% reward track for crafting XP; be sure to log out/back in after dying before doing any crafting or you'll get reduced crafting XP.

Just checked to be sure, crafting XP goes down after you die.

now i can max the last of the unbound shards so i can share with nobody.... do you think they can turn back on the ability' to convert all my oldschool shards? ive got like 350 of them. would bw cool to at least get some snowballs for them. or random collectables.

That bonus always applies only to shards that you craft (no bonus to deconstruction XP) and AFAIR has always been applied to the XP you see in the crafting window (i.e. XP what you see includes the bonus - so it's hard to say if the bonus is ON, because hardly anyone remembers what XP should be for a particular shard at particular crafting level).

Update: My Crafter on Cormyr is now Crafting level 351. It took ~45K Cannith Essence, 2 Crafting Bonus Elixirs (100%) and 108 Crafting Success Boosters (+35%) plus other lesser boosters. Sitting at 507,047 Crafting xp, 76 Shards crafted, and 0 Shards deconstructed (I deconned almost all on my other toon). This left me with 50K+ Cannith Essence leftover.
Note: I could have gone quicker, but it would have used more Cannith Essence, and I used more of the +35% success Boosters to save essence also.
