What's the best mechanic to maximize epic ingredients? I have a couple level 20 toons -- running at level 25 I'd imagine? Also it seems like ingredients don't correlate directly with how many stars I get in the challenges, so...

Kobold ones - focus on getting crystals?
Island ones - try to get a high number with the generators?
Mansion - Kill stuff? Open doors?

I tried one of the cannith ones a couple weeks ago and everything just stood around - seems the 6 Eveningstar ones work, but do any of the cannith (and if so, which ones)?

Among the various Cannith Challenges, some of the better ones to just amass ingredients (based on my soloing experience from before the issues with AI Pathing):

About 72 ingredients per minute - Kobold Chaos (Heroic only)
About 70 ingredients per minute - Colossal Crystals
About 62 ingredients per minute - Buying Time
About 48 ingredients per minute - Dr. Rushmore: Moving Targets

Kobold Chaos and Dr. Rushmore: Moving Targets do not use crystal harvesting kobolds, so those should still be good in the current state of the game.

Yeah it's based on dragon shards for the collection ones, and the mansion is stars plus kills (you can see your points listed as you go). Doors aren't worth it except the ones you have to open, because they add two mins each and you can't finish early, so you don't want to have like 7 mins left after you kill the last boss
