It was nice to get my crafting xp up again though. I'll get level 400 someday. I hit 358 tonight!

If you just deconstruct all RNG gear you get from running lv 20+ quests it will eventually get you to lv 400. I did my leveling using the recipes and wish I hadn't. I used Crafting XP potion and Success Boosters and way too many collectables. Not to mention the amount of Cannith Crafting Essence. For the record, on a 50% Crafting Bonus Weekend you can lv from lv 1 to lv 351 with 70-100K of Cannith Essence and the right stuff from the DDO Store. To get from lv 351-400 takes the same amount of Cannith Essence and ALOT of Collectables.
If you "Want to craft for someone", i.e. unbound, instead have them collect essence (help them if they need it) until they have the 100K and then Guide them on a 50% Crafting Bonus weekend. Also make sure to teach them that collectables are not optionals fi they are getting into crafting!
I had someone that saved up the essence they needed and after leveling them they kept bugging me even for normal collectables. THEY HAD NEVER TOUCHED THEM! So frustrating.
I have helped more than 30+ people get lv 351 in Cannith Crafting.

Yeah, I use the boosters and an xp potion from the crafting quest, then I just craft ML shards.
