DDO Bonus Days!

What does is do though?

It boosts your treasure hunting. You hunt for treasure +15 better.

Realistically, from reported results: it boosts your chance at Reaper/Mythic bonuses, rare filigree chance, and rare Store items. It does not seem to boost your named item drop rate or quantity of stacked drops. I'm unsure if it affects SXP drop rate.

Also keep in mind that even though it says "now", I think that means within the next 24 hours (I don't think it's currently active).
Time runs differently for DDO.. 😉

This would really suck if you get excited and immediately jump in and ransack a bunch of chests before they turn the bonus on, and then get locked out of them all weekend...

Just believe in the placebo.

Anecdotally:

We just did a reaper shortman VoD and got several reaper boosted raid items. My Tinfoil Tiara is firmly placed all the way to my eyebrows.
Are you Jadow? :)
I am doing hardcore on Warspite and I did a short-man reaper VoN :D

'treasure hunter' is not a stat or concept that is explained anywhere in the game; as far as we can tell it doesn't affect anything.

So... thanks, I guess?

Officially, it increase the chance of rare effects on random loot
It does not influence the chance of store items, augments, filigrees, tomes, reaper/mythic bonuses, 4th affixes, or augment slots on randomly generated loot.
I treat, and think other people should treat, the lack of further clarification as indication that it does not do useful things outside of those functions.

I always get x3 the fragment on boosted weekends. Magically. Has nothing to do with the treasure boost weekend though, or so i've been told by numerous sources. It's just.. luck?

As long as I keep pulling more fragments on boosted weekends I don't care if it's placebo, the power of friendship or a bug gone haywire on the behalf of players in a grand rebellion against the deliberately vague communications of their creators - as long as it keeps happening I'm okay with it.

I absolutely agree. I am already up to 25 fragments and it's only the first few hours.

You're confusing it with treasure hunter elixers

Because SSG gonna SSG, the same name means a different thing.

This boost adds to the loot die roll to get onto the mythic & reaper boost table. It's a repeatable certainty to pull boosted named loot while this bonus is going on.

Roll to get named, roll for what named, roll for mythic &/or reaper boost.

This was my first run with a greater treasure potion on. I had quite a few rares pop up on the first try so that was luck. This to me a very good pull of named items. I also had 6 filigree drop with 2 being rare for what its worth. A couple of these things have mythic on them, but they're all mostly just food for hangry weapons... 👹 Feywild, IOD, & Saltmarsh are my primary runs. Any other suggestions that seem to give good results for you? Post them up.

exactly! always happens to me. I have stated this twenty four hour delay to others and they look at me like im an idiot.

By the way, i also speculate that Lost at Sea does not give Reaper bonus items during this event. I made stats on it and i was just not getting anything, and iirc this was after twenty four hours. Right after that i did Into the Mists and was getting reaper bonuses again
