Yeah. None taken but I think you're missing the point...

I paid for the boxes to avoid tedium so I'm gonna maximise the sh1t out of them. Or I'd not be bothered by any VIP bonus or not.

It's not the money, the spend is the same anyway, it's the fact I hate every moment of TRing.

If I didn't I wouldn't buy the damned things in the first place.

I can just delay and spend less time being bored out my skull. No biggie.

Thats an even better suggestion, make sure the ViP bonus is significant as to draw in more subscriptions. It needs to make a big enough gap of power advancement for VIP’s over FTP/Premium.

Subscriptions are an easy and reliable metric for planning future development, even some(certainly not all but some as a minority) whale ftp spenders threaten to damage future development by holding their purchases as ransom over “develop the game the way I want it, wah wah wah cry like a entitled princess baby!”, these types should just be flagged and ignored by SSG.

I don’t think it’s fair that beer and pizza make me fat and raise my blood pressure.

Wait a minute who told us that life was fair anyway.

We used to receive a 15% VIP bonus from time to time, particularly during the Christmas break, and I really miss that bonus. The lack of generosity with bonuses is one of the reasons I decided to drop VIP.

They are a business, they depend on people to pay for the service. F2P is for you to decide that you like this product enough to pay for the content. These incentives for VIP are there to encourage people to pay for the subscription that pays their staff and other costs to do business. They produce as much free content as they can justify, they have given away the coupon codes that give almost every non Expansion adventure pack for free that veteran players once paid cash for or had to grind for ddo points to earn. And they sell old expansions from time to time at 99 points when some of us spent $40-130 on them.

Imagine walking into a grocery store and being upset that you can't just have everything in there for free.
