No there is an import function that will convert v1 files. So I have updated to the latest version, I can't load my previous builds now. Is this just the way it is?

These aren't V1 builds, they are previous v2 buildsNo there is an import function that will convert v1 files.

Also, I think the 1.5 from Many Shot is not being calculated for Doubleshot.Hello Maetrim, thank you for all your work on this builder. Truly amazing. I noticed in V2, that the Rapid Shot (1.5x Base Attack for Ranged Power) is not calculating correctly. It is only applying 1.5 Ranged Power it appears. I checked it against a live toon to discover the discrepancy. It seems to be the difference in Ranged Power.
DCs fixed. Also found one other that had the same error.Still finding abilities where the DCs are scaling with attribute instead of attribute mod - is there anyway to track these down from your end or should we report them individually?
Battle Engineer:
Thundershock-Weapon (crossbow)
Shatter Defenses (crossbow)
Buff effect fixedlegendary ring of power's "melee alacrity" doesn't adjust the attack speed on the weapon summary
Descriptions updated for cores and required effects added.Ravager Cores 4, 5 and 6 are missing +2 intimidate each (for a total of +6), as per the wiki and live game.
Description and value fixedEpic Reputation should grant +5 bonus to the skills listed, as per wiki and the live game.
In the builder, it's currently granting +3.
Augment fixed. Also the items shows as "Not Active" unless you have the "Empower Spell" metamagic stance enabled.I do not think the planner accounts for the Crystallized Drop of Tea in terms of spell point cost reduction. While the Meridian Fragment shows up in Maximize, the Tea doesn't show on Empower. Also, why does it say inactive for the enchantments?
Thank you for the planner, I love playing with it.
Looks like I am missing the "Alternate feat selection" code from V1. I will see about adding it back in.what is the easiest way to show/list feat swaps when you reach certain level?
For example I like to to take Eschew materials at a very early level in heroics, but then I swap it out when I can get it in Draconic Incarnation Epic Destiny
You can import builds from V1 using the option in the File menu. If you are trying to import V2 files, a right click on the builds pane should provide a pop up menu with options for that.So I have updated to the latest version, I can't load my previous builds now. Is this just the way it is?
Effect bonus types fixed for "Calamitous Blows" and "Bloodrage Defense" which both had the wrong bonus type. The Doublestrike bonus from the Bloodrage Chrism trinket should be granting a profane bonus, but in the builder, it's erroneously granting an enhancement bonus.
The build in question is holding a Greataxe, to qualify for the bonus granted by the Chrism.

If a previous V2 file is not loading that is an issue. Could you attach the bad file(s) to a github issue if you can raise one. Or if you can;t do that, I can provide you with an email address to send them to.These aren't V1 builds, they are previous v2 builds
Sounds like you have added it to your feat ignore list. This ahhepns if you right click a feat on the feat selection combo box during feat selection. You can restore "Ignored" items by either by deleting the "IgnoreList.xml" file (name may be slightly different) and restarting the software, or toggle the "Ignore Ignore List option" on the toolbar (Big red Φ symbol) and you can then un-ignore the feat by right clicking it in the fat select list again.tried a new build tonight and was not able to select improved critical ranged at level 12 with a BAB of 9 (does not show on the list of feats)
I also noticed in imported builds from V1 if I deselected improved critical ranged I was not able to find it on the list again
I really don't know how to do what you're asking but the error I get says, Root element name 'DDOBuilderCharacterData' does not match expected root element name 'DDOCharacterData'If a previous V2 file is not loading that is an issue. Could you attach the bad file(s) to a github issue if you can raise one. Or if you can;t do that, I can provide you with an email address to send them to.
DDOCharacterData is the root element type used in DDOBuilder V1 while DDOBuilderCharacterData is the root element type used in V2. The error your getting suggests you are trying to load a V2 file into V1 of the builder, which is not going to work.I really don't know how to do what you're asking but the error I get says, Root element name 'DDOBuilderCharacterData' does not match expected root element name 'DDOCharacterData'
Yep, I screwed up and downloaded a V1 zip. All is working once again. Things to check:
Did you unzip the V2 version of the builder to a different location than V1? (It is pretty much required that V2 be in a different folder than V1 as they can interact badly)
If it is in its own folder, are you running V2 of the builder? If you open it via a link you may have setup, then the link may still be pointing to the V1 executable..
Blur had the wrong bonus type (was already fixed locally for next release.)The concealment bonus for Dark Apostates using Shadow Shrouding form together with an additional source of concealment (e.g. blur) is not being calculated properly in the DDOBuilder.
My Dark Apostate build gets 20% concealment from Warpriest C4, and 15% from Shadow Shrouding, but these do not stack in game, which suggests they are likely the same kind of bonus. Only the highest (20%) is being applied in the live game :
In the builder, they are incorrectly staking to a total of 35%:
Stacking rules adjusted for "Shadow Shrouding - Concealment/Incorporeality"Further to the previous post above :
Just noticed the same issue with Incorporeality. In the live game they do not stack, but in the builder they incorrectly stack:
Sanctuary stance added. Angelskin was a carry over from a spell selection before you changed a class selection from Paladin to something else. The previous spell selections are still being stored for when/if you ever switch back to Paladin again. I have added code to check whether you are eligible for this spell to be castable for your current class setup and removed those from notifying effects for which you do not.The PRR breakdown for this Dark Apostate DDOBuilder file, lists:
> one erroneous item: Angelskin spell (this needs to be removed completely, as they don't get this spell)> one inactive item that is not listed in the 'Stances' section, so cannot be made active in the list: Warpriest's 'Sanctuary C3'
Also just noticed the Ever Watchful bonus is displaying an incorrect value.
It grants PRR = religious lore feats, and this build has 14 RL feats, not 20, so the value should be +14 (tested and confirmed in live game).
It would be great if Ever Watchful could also be added somewhere where it's possible to toggle it on, so its bonus can be made active in the breakdown.
Also fixed. Carry over effect from V1 which didn't take into account the number of feats you have.EDITED:
