This was also raised as a Defect by DougSK. I have just finished my preliminary changes that move Ability Tomes, Special Feats (i.e. Past lives - everything except favor feats) and Skill tomes from the Life level to the Character level. This means that all build/lives in a single file will share the data. Thus changing the past lives in one, will update for all the other lives/builds in the same file.

I have seen this as an intermittent issue. I'll have a go at getting it fixed also.
I just came here to report this as a bug. Guess it's not.

I use my one file to future-cast lives and build them in advance. Having the past lives marked as global has seriously messed up "my" planner because I need all of my future lives to reflect different achieved levels of past life completion. And it makes it impossible to "play" with any given life because it shows too many or too few points depending on what life I am looking at based on how I had to set it on the previous life I looked at.

I can adjust, but this change has seriously borked my everything.

Builder 2.0.0.49 is not saving any values for favor, despte entering them for each faction and clicking save.

The values remain at 0 in the character file.

how do I reset the various windows to the way I want them?

I some how messed it up and now I can't seem to get thing back to the look I like.

I the in help file is coming up blank for me, so no help there.


ok I have figured out how to move the various windows around and lock them in place. Where is that information saved so I can back it up in case I mess things up again?

The Warpriest enhancement trees capstone Implabable Foe seems to add 2 stacks of constitution giving a total of +4 con for both the wisdom and strength version of it, when it should only give +2 constitution.
 
I have found some items with errors.

Dethek Runestone shield is giving a resistance bonus to natural armor, not the normal enhancement type that it should.

Isle of Dread Shadowscale (in my Dino Bone Club) augment doesn’t seem to be giving its 10% spell point cost reduction bonus.

Sapphire of Dodge is giving an equipment bonus instead of the proper enhancement bonus.

Legendary University Investigator Hat should be Quality Dodge +3%, the item has a standard enhancement Dodge +3%.

Rauven of the Frost. When you hover the mouse over the item, the text box fills up the screen. It looks like the description text in the pop-up doesn’t wrap like other item descriptions do.

Legendary Lightning Railworker’s Boots. Elemental Resistance +45. Bonus type “not set.”

It work correctly, seems you already have such bonus from other gear. Facet of Condensed Power mebbe? ;)

It's provide Natural armor bonus, exactly as description say.

Mechanic core 3 (lvl 6) doesn't appear to be applying INT to dmg on crossbows.
Fixed for next release. Many other abilities that should have affected crossbows were also fixed.

I did a very simple test and the favor was saved/loaded. I only did this with a single quest. If you have a specific file with the issue can you attached it to a GitHub report?

The screen layout is saved in the DDOBuilder.ini file which is in the same folder as the executable. This is the file you want to back up.

I fixed all the items, but not done the "Sapphire of Dodge" yet as the wiki does not specify exactly what the bonus type is. I will have to check this in game.

Offhand Versatility doesn't seem to be coded as a Fighter Bonus Feat.
Added to the fighter bonus feat list.


All this is for the next release.

Ah, the favor options don't currently auto toggle the associated favor feats to the acquired favor level. They should. I'll try and get that added in the future.

Hi Maetrim. Easy one for you (hopefully!): In version 2.0.0.49, the epic destiny feat 'Two Handed Specialty' is giving 140% strikethrough in both its description and in the breakdown for strikethrough. However, in game (and on the wiki) the same feat gives only 120% strikethrough. Screenshots below:

The feat Channel Power is giving a value of 4% to spell DCs in the breakdown while blocking. It should just be +4 to spell DCs while blocking. It is also giving a +100% competence bonus to spell power while blocking instead of +100 spell power.

Knight of the Chalice enhancements Tier 5 Ascendancy. When I select the enhancement a slider appears in the Stances. It ranges 0-25. It should grant 0-15. The KotC Capstone should enhance Ascendancy to a maximum of 25 stacks. The slider is also broken. When you click it, it goes to 25 and you can't bring it back down to 0. Also it doesn't grant the proper melee or range power in the Breakdown window. After you click the slider you get 75 melee/range power that is listed as 'inactive.'

The Slider should now work and the bonus type is now also correctly "Sacred", however the tech needed to be able to dynamically change the max slider value from 15 to 25 if you get the relevant enhancement is currently missing, so by default it's set the upper value of 25.

This release see's a lot of general data fixes, a small amount of feature migration from V1, and an early look of the U72 Dragon Disciple Monk Archetype. Note that although its a preview, its still missing the changes to the Monk Shintao, Henshin Mystic and Ninja Spy trees as those need to stay the same as live for moment.

Here is another one I found: The level 6 deity feat Amaunator's Flames should be Amaunator's Brillance (I think they changed the name from one to the other about 10 years ago lol.). It is also incorrectly granting Fire Shield (Fire) SLA. It should be a toggle ability for a 25% Sacred bonus to Cold Absorption. https://ddowiki.com/page/Amaunator's_Flames

Divine Disciple Tier 5 Transcendence multiselector. The requirements for Transcend Light and Transcend Darkness are wrong. I have all Darkness cores yet I cannot select Transcend Darkness. I can only select Transcend Light, which should require all Light core abilities.
 
And thank you for keeping this program up to date after all these years. I just came back to DDO after a 5 year break. Your builder has been a life saver... I remember contributing to V1 on the old forums 6 or 7 years ago! :)

found a little bug, epic feats at levels 21, 24, 27, 30 and 33 only let you select epic feats when you should also be able to select heroic feats. note that this is with a saved file imported from V1.

nevermind, found the setting that shows heroic feats in epic levels.
