I will do that to help users. The sad thing... When you look up "ddobuilder" in duckduckgo, the first link to GitHub is to version 1. Version 2 isn't even showing up explicitly (it has a changes link for V2).
Edit: Perhaps add a forwarding link to V2 releases at the top of the V1 releases page in GitHub (https://github.com/Maetrim/DDOBuilder/releases), for people like me that didn't immediately realize there is a V2 and that V1 is no longer supported.
Added bug to my listOosh, what a buggy mess... I'm clicking on stuff and DDOBuilder just closes without even an error message.
Repro: Open V2, Delete the build that opens by default, click "Build level" in the menu... and bye bye V2, it just closes without an error warning.
Repro 2: Same as above... just hovering over the "Build level" menu item is enough to crash the DDOBuilder.
There is no way to explicitly close a file, as there is always an open document. You can click the 1st button in the toolbar "New Document" which in effect closes the current file (it will prompt to save changes if there are any).Is there a way to close a file I'm working on?
In V1 you could have several tabs, each with a separate character or build or gear setup or whatever you wanted. You could close individual tabs with a character build. I don't find where to close the file?
I can not select anything in the feydark Illusionist tree. Not sure what is up with thatHello Everyone,
I have dropped support of V1 of the builder as V2 is filling out to the same support level as V1 with additional features and being easier to maintain.
A version of DDOBuilder version 2 is now available for use/evaluation.
Please report any errors that you see.
I am interested in feedback and also in people who may want to contribute to updating the data in the files to get everything working. There is far too much data for one person to handle, especially as I am trying to keep V1 running at the same time.
For those interested in giving a test run it can be found at: https://github.com/Maetrim/DDOBuilderV2/releases

Does your character have the magical training feat? It can be acquired from another enhancement tree.I can not select anything in the feydark Illusionist tree. Not sure what is up with that
I forgot about that. Thought bards got that automatically. So you are right. I figured it out. Thanks for pointing that outDoes your character have the magical training feat? It can be acquired from another enhancement tree.
Items fixed for next release.some of the weapons that aren't supposed to uncenter you (Valorius, the Flameblade/Mirana of the Flame/Eidolon of the Shadow) are uncentering in the builder
DA levels will now correctly count to Cleric turning level.I'm confused but why doesn't Dark Apostate cleric lvl for turn undead purposes match that of Cleric? E.g. lvl 34 pure Cleric, turn undead cleric level is 27, but pure DA at lvl 34, turn undead cleric level is 7. Wiki doesn't say anything about DA not getting turn undead levels like a regular cleric.
All fixed for next release, except the last one, but its added to my TODO list.Hi Maetrim, please see the below list of bugs I have noticed with builder 2.0.0.66:
- The Legendary Feat 'Scion of the Astral Plane' is currently providing an extra +4 bonus to Tactics DC's , Assasinate DC's, Doublestrike and Doubleshot when centered. However, in-game this feat only provides the extra +4 bonus to Doublestrike and Doubleshot when centered.
- Item 'Legendary Miner's Steel Boots' is a misnamed duplicate of the in-game item 'Legendary Miner's Reinforced Belt'.
- The Legendary Solar Gem of Tactical DC's augment is currently providing a +3 Artifact bonus to Tactics DC's, which does not stack with The Abiding Path Filigree +2 Stunning DC set bonus. However, in-game these bonuses stack with each other.
- The Meloncholic False Life (Heroic / Legendary) augments are currently confgured with <Type>Hitpoints</Type> instead of <Type>FalseLife</Type>, so they are stacking with both Sapphire of False and Dinosaur Scale: False Life augments, which they do not do in-game.
- The item 'Legendary Tiny Brain in a Jar' has an erroneous effect entry labelled as Intelligence %v1: Passive %v1 Enhancement bonus to Intelligence. This should be Intelligence Skills - Exceptional bonus +6: Passive: +6 Exceptional Bonus to Disable Device, Repair, Search, and Spellcraft.
- The descriptions for Ruby of Acid/Cold/Electric/Fire Damage state 'You deal an extra [value]d6 Acid/Cold/Electric/Fire damage on attacks. The value does not update when selecting Augment level to select the number of dice.
