I realized I ought to put a post on the new forums so that people can still find this. I built the DDO Gear Planner website a while ago to help solve your gear tetris problems. You tell it which affixes you care about, and it will suggest gear that has those things. It's also super helpful for figuring out what bonus types you're missing for a particular affix.

The website lives at https://ddo-gear-planner.netlify.app/ and is mobile friendly!

You can easily share your builds by copying-and-pasting the admittedly-long URL. For example, here's my Ice Druid. If you scroll down, you can see that I have 30 out of 34 available points for Wisdom, and am missing the Exceptional bonus entirely. Clicking on any of the bonus type boxes shows you a list of gear with that bonus on it.

I don't spend much time on it these days, but most of the data is pulled nightly from the wiki, so new gear shows up automatically. I occasionally push updates when inspired, so feel free to leave suggestions... or better yet, make your own contributions through the GitHub repo, https://github.com/illusionistpm/ddo-gear-planner

Universal Spell Power and Universal Spellpower is same bonus, must be consolidate to one. Missing Implement bonus from weapon/orb/shield slots.

Insight and Insightful is same bonus, must be Insight only.

Deadly, Damage and damage is same bonus, must choice only one and consolidate. Profane missed bonus from Litany/Epic Litany of the Dead.
Accuracy, Hit and hit is same bonus, must choice only one and consolidate. Profane missed bonus from Litany/Epic Litany of the Dead.
Melee and Ranged powers missed Quality bonus from ToEE Evil set.
Enhancement Spellpower not present in game currently, must be removed. All equipment with erroneously Enhancement SP bonuses on it have Equipment bonuses really.
Untyped Spellpower from Robe of Arcane Power is Equipment Potency really.
Well Round Enhancement not exist, must be removed.
Epic/Legendary Saltmarsh Explorer sets have Artifact bonuses to USP, not untyped.

Pro tip on using the site: You can setup standardized layouts as bookmarks. For example, I use this link for all my melee/ranged builds, and then uncheck any attributes I don't need.

Question on suggestions for the site: On a scale of "Oh, that's easy" to "That path leads only to madness", how difficult would it be to implement the Gem of Many Facets and Mysterious Rings with their set bonuses and Cannith Crafting?

Set bonus choice already present at Slavers gear, same as CC, so i think it fully possible, however, how difficult it is to implement, only the author himself can say. 8)

Yeah, I think the site should support it if someone were to add the list of options.

This might be tricky but is there some way to have Bone armor count as Isle of Dread set?

I don't see a legend anywhere, what do the various colors of text represent?

Is there any indication of a redundant affixes? For example, if I have 2 items with devotion can it show me that one isn't beneficial?

Lastly, I don't see any place to put filigrees, am I missing it or are those not supported?

Yeah, really need to add a legend one of these days.

Green: you have the highest possible bonus for that type
Orange: there is a higher value available for this type
Blue: this affix's type and value is the highest you currently have equipped and is duplicated across multiple items

Ideally, you're looking for all Green.

The coloring on composite affixes like Well-Rounded is buggy. Duplicates should probably be indicated in a different way so as to not lose the indication of whether it's the best value or not.

No filigree support since it doesn't impact gearing as long as you have an artifact somewhere.

Thanks, that's very helpful. When looking at items not equipped, I'm also seeing a purple color text. What does that one represent?

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. I'm pretty sure Purple is "best available value and better than anything you have equipped"

Skill section missed bonuses from LGS - +22 Competence, +11 Insight and +6 Quality.

Spell Lore and Universal Spell Lore is same stat, must be consolidate.

All SA dice bonuses from sets is Artifact only, Untyped not present. Missed Profane bonuses from Dino Armor Fang and Shadowscale Armor (Shadow Killer upgrade).

Armor Piercing and Armor-Piercing same stat, must be consolidate (Dino Armor Piercing Horn currently not count in sheet until checked specifically, same about Accuracy Fang).

All Dino gear with selectable bonus set don't have it currently (must be homological to Slavers set choosing).

I love this tool and use it all the time. Unfortunately there's a lot of effects that are the same, but are listed differently on the website. I'm guessing since it automatically pulls the stats from the wiki it causes discrepancies if the effect doesn't have the same name there?
