Hey everyone!
I am a transplant from Ghallanda (originally Lhazaar), and I made the tough decision to transfer to Orien knowing that I may lose my beloved character names upon arrival. Sure enough, several of my toons (including my main, Dergan) already existed on Orien, so they got the -1 treatment. My main man is now tragically Dergan-1.
I'd very much like to reacquire that toon's original name, as I've had it for nearly 17 years and it's become my identity in game. It just doesn't feel "right" with the -1, ya know? I've thought hard about a rename, but just can't bring myself to do it because of its sentimental value to me.
I'm posting today to ask if anyone knows the account holder that has the name Dergan or how I might get into contact with them. I would really like to work something out with them to possibly reacquire it. Adding the name to friends just shows my own character and former guild (Damaged Inc.), so I'm not sure how to find the actual current "Dergan" on Orien.
