Dhampir bite bug

So is the vampire bite bugged? I am currently a fvs dhampir at lvl 9. My charisma is 42 in reaper. When I hover over fearsome countenance I can get it to will save DC 50. All good there. However, the bite with the enhancement of Ascendant bite stays at DC 16 when I hover over it? Sometimes it goes to DC 17 but I've tried to reproduce the increase in +1 and for the love of me, cannot figure it out. Seems random. The enhancement information says: Ascendant bite, if living, cowering, save is based on 16 + highest str/con/int/char + stunning + enhchant or die? My DC then should be close to 50 as well when I buff. So why is it staying at 16? If it is just a visual bug then why are so many mobs (alive) saving the death when they don't have deathward and some crowned mobs that always have dw sometimes get instakilled? Seems to be random. At a 50 DC, most mobs without dw should be dying but no. Plus I insta killed at least one construct with it. Is that normal? My biggest concern at the moment is the SAVE not working with ascendant bite. Anyone else?

LOL. Haven't tried that but now my DC went to 18 from the last login. The only thing that may have happened to increase this from 16 to 18 is the house p buffs that increased str or con but it is does not seem to register the charisma increase at all, nor the enchantment or stunning bonuses. Even though, it is far from the 50 DC that I should have. Surely some others have noticed this?

In my experience, the killing bite doesn't seem to be working properly. The killing bite also doesn't work with Dragon Lord's Cowering Roar. Not sure if the killing bite works with Divine Crusader's cower.

Here's the full info I have regarding the issue:

- The DC of Ascendant Bite & Dark Ascendant Bite (DDB) doesn't appear to be calculating correctly. Could be any/all of the following: A) conflict with the Stunning + Necromancy bonuses, B) a lower base DC of 10 instead of the advertised 16, C) ignoring CON/INT/CHA and only using STR.
- Some have reported that they haven't been able to get the instakill portion of Dark Ascendant Bite to work, so the above issue with the DC might not be a display issue only, but a gameplay one too.
- Ascendant Bite & Dark Ascendant Bite don't seem to instakill targets that have been Cowered via other sources, such as Dragon Lord "Dragon's Roar".
- Should also check that the DC of Fearsome Counternance is calculating correctly.

Thanks for the info everyone. I did notice that my dc did increase a bit with strength but is still completely wacked. Hopefully they will correct this issue in a future but very soon update as it is one of the best features of this race.

Actually, I don't know how the DC for Vampiric Bite is calculated as it's displayed in-game. This DC also seems to be used for Ascendant Bite, but I don't know what its intended purpose is in either case. I would suggest giving Ascendant Bite its own enhancement with a separate, clearly displayed DC—and yes, it should follow the same calculation as Fearsome Countenance, but it quite obviously doesn't.

Another bug we've noticed involves Draining Bite. According to its description, it should drain 1 level, plus an additional level for every 5 character levels—meaning it should drain 6 levels at level 20. However, it currently only drains one level regardless of character level.

I tested this in a PvP area, but I assume the calculations and mechanics are the same in PvE. The very small amount of HP lost by monsters when using Draining Bite further suggests that it's only draining one level per use.
